Charalambakis and Associates law firm was founded by Professor Aristotelis I. Charalambakis who practices active law since 1980 and operates in the legal form of law firm since 2008. It is considered to be one of the most prestigious law firms in Greece, providing high quality legal services. It is comprised of prime specialized lawyers with great experience in court practice and enduring expertise at an academic level.

It is a modern and fully equipped law firm, accommodated under its own premises in the center of Athens (1 Dimokritou str, Kolonaki, Athens). Professor, Attorney at Law. The firm’s founder and Senior Partner. Legal studies at the University of Athens. He graduated in 1978 with degree «excellent». 1978 – 1982: Master’s degree in Criminal Law at the Law School of the University of Munich. Ph.D. from the University of Munich in 1982, with grade ‘’excellent’’.  1982 – 1990: Lecturer at the Institute for Criminal Law of the University of Munich. 
1991 – 1996: Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the Democritus University of Thrace. 1996 – today: Full Professor of Criminal Law at the Democritus University of Thrace. From 1992 to 2012 Director of the Criminal Law and Criminology, Faculty of Law at the Democritus University of Thrace. From 1992 until now Director of the Laboratory of Penal and Criminal Procedure Law at the Democritus University of Thrace. From 1997 to 2003 he served as Vice Reactor for Academic Affairs and Personnel of the Democritus University of Thrace. From October 2010 until August 2014 served as Head on Faculty of Law Dept., Democritus University of Thrace . From June 2004 until June 2008 he served as Vice Chairman of the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). From February 2008 until January 2010 and from August 2014 until March 2015 he served as Chairman  of the Central Scientific Council of Prisons (K.E.S.F.) From February 2008 until June 2009 and from December 2011 until December 2012 was a member the Special Superior Court to hear a suit and cases of Artical 88 par. 2 of the Consitution.  From May 2008 until January 2010 President of State Foundation for Evaluation of academic titles (DOΑTAP). From September 2013 until August 2015 member of the Board. National School of Judges. From 2014 Professor in criminal law. National School of Judges. Has served as Charmail, vice – Charmain or member of Board in major Companies, in the area of Health Sector, pharmaceutical industry and export trade. Pursuing an active law practice in all branches of Law since 1980.


Christina A. Krappa

She is one of the partners of Charalambakis and Associates Law Firm. She was admitted to Athens Bar Association in 2005 and she is a lawyer before the Athens Court of Appeal. She holds a Law Degree and a Master's Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure granted by the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace. She is a PhD candidate in Law and her doctoral dissertation focuses on the Criminal Liability of Company Directors and Managers. She graduated London School of Economics (LSE) programs’ specializing on Corporate Law and Corporate Governance, as well as on International Commercial Litigation and Arbitration. She is highly experienced in civil law with particular emphasis in law of obligations, corporate and commercial law, as well, both at consultation and litigation level. She has also active practice with extensive experience in White Collar Crimes, Tax Criminal Law, Professional Negligence and Criminal Liability. She has acted as external legal counsel to several industrial companies, as well as pharmaceuticals, media, and accounting companies. She is fluent in Greek, English and German.

Katerina K. Sikioti

She is one of the partners of Charalambakis and Associates law firm. In 1986 she graduated from the law school of National Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is highly experienced in Tax Law, in Civil Law, Insuarence Law, in Criminal Law and in Corporate law. Ιn 1988 she Graduated from Teachers Training College of Lamia. In 2002 she granted a Master Degree from the Democretus University of Thrace in Criminal Law and Criminology. In 2004 she granted her PhD from the Democretus University of Thrace Law School. She is a member of Athens Bar Association since 1988. From January 2011 to June 2014 was legal counsel to the Law Department of Regional Education Office of the Ministry of Education Affairs in Athens, concerning administrative law matters as well as disciplinary law matters. Also studied national legislation on private and public schools. From May 2010 to October 2010 was Member of the Legislative Drafting Committee of the Ministry of Justice, for the incorporation into national law of the Framework Decision 2008/913/JHA on combating certain forms and expressions of racism and xenophobia by means of criminal law, and for drafting the explanatory memorandum of Evaluation of Consequences and Settings, as well as the text of the incorporated Framework – Decision. PUBLICATIONS – SCIENTIFIC STUDIES: • Monograph «Tax crimes», Substantive and Procedural Criminal Law, 2010. • Published a study on «The penal responsibility of societies», Poiniki Dikaiosini, 1/2010, p. 94. • Published a study on «The article 232Α of the Greek Penal Code» – An attempt for interpretation and approach”, Poinikos Logos, 5/2006, p. 1715. • Interpretation of the articles 198-201 of the Greek Penal Code, part of the collective work «Penal Code», Nomiki Bibliothiki, 2014.

She is one of the partners of Charalambakis and Associates Law Firm. She is a member of Athens Bar Association and a lawyer before the Court of First Instance. She holds a Law Degree from the University of Nicosia. The year 2018 she got a Master’ s Degree in Corporate Law from the University College London (UCL). She is a PhD candidate in Law, in Democritus University of Thrace and her doctoral dissertation focuses on the Criminal Provisions in the Law of Limited Liability Companies. She speaks English, German and Turkish.
